Rambling Rose depicts that iconic stalwart of forest walks and cottage gardens alike, the English rose. Climbing, twisting and turning, this thorned roses beguiling labyrinthine structure betrays the roses symbolisation of earthy love and purity. A rarer feature in his wallpapers, the rose was a motif William Morris repeatedly turned to in tapestry as well as in poetry.
Inspired by the love between friends and the legacy of a truly historic home, Morris & Co. launch four brand-new patterns and six re-introduced William Morris designs in the collaboration collection with Emery Walker’s House.
